I've just heard that on the new tour which started yesterday, it's focusing aroung this Jr tag league. Is going to be run the same as the heavyweight tag league? Which teams are competing in it? When does it run till? Any help would be appriciated
Masanobu Fuchi and Gran Hamada
Ryuji Hijikata and Kazushi Miyamotoh
Kendo KaShin and Robby Brookside (England)
Kaz Hayashi and Jimmy Yang
Gran Naniwa and Dark Guererra (Mexico)
It will be held just like the Real World Tag League, 2 points for a win, 1 for draw and 0 for a loss. The winning team of the tournament will challenge for the All Asia Tag Team titles currently held by Arashi and Nobutaka Araya.

Thanks for the info, nice to see Robbie Brookside in All Japan, I hope he makes a good impression and bags a full time spot. Who is Dark Guerrera? So it looks like the winners will get the All Asian belts which will turn into All Japan's version of the Jr tag belts. Whoever wins the tourny surely must get the win of Arashi and Araya, they can't have the winners of the first Jr tourny falling at the first hurdle. My money's on Brookside and Kashin over Hayashi and Yang in the final. Strange that recent threads in this forum have involved the All Asian belts and the Junior division getting a push and now it looks like it's happening. The Power's That Be keep their eye on Hisa's forums then.
I have to disagree. Maybe it's to do with the split (with trainers jumping), but miyamaoto just isn't up there with the rest of the juniors produced in late All Japan/NOAH(Marufuji, Kannemaru, Hashi, KENTA). He's really not suited to the junior division at all, as his moveset is too plian (it's not high-flying or high impact, like most juniors).
He's not a little guy, so I think he should bulk up and become a heavyweight, where his style would fit more and he'd learn a style that he could use.
No idea who Dark Gurrera is, with the exception of the fact that he's an AAA worker.
I take in what your saying but I see a lot of potential in Miyamoto. I still think that All Jaoan need a couple of imports for the junior division to really grab the interest. Who knows, maybe when the contracts all come up for renewel in Janurary, a few New Japan stars will be tempted to follow Ka Shin, Kojima and Muto?
It said on Zach Arnold's site that Miyamoto has announced he is becoming a heavyweight, so maybe he has seen where his talents are best suited.
Apparently he is going to fight for his mentor Kawada, or something like that.
Heavyweight or Junior, I think Miyamoto is very talented and has huge potential. In fact heavyweight is a good idea as the next crop of home grown talent to the main event stable is pretty thin on the ground. Although, why has he just announced he is becomming a heavyweight one night into the Real World Junior Tag league?
Well, you never know. He might power through the tournament, gaining weight as he goes along, and then use a win to declare himself finished with the junior division.
But, I don't see Hijikata getting pushed, which is a shame, because he's got a lot of talent and potential; he'd be better off in ZERO-ONE, I'm sure.
How xool would a Katsumi Usuda/Ryuji Hijikata team be?
