The teams have been announced for the forthcoming tourny, anyone got any ideas on the outcome?

Steve Williams & Mike Rotunda
Arashi & Nobutaka Araya

Mike Awesome & PJ Friedman

Remember the winners of the League get the tag straps as well.

John Tenta? Good lord, why? Meltzer had said Bam Bam Bigelow was rumored to be Tenryu's partner, so maybe he'll end up being Mutoh's instead. If I had to predict now, I'd like to see Ohtani and Tanaka winning the tourny, possibly setting up a larger angle with AJPW vs. Zero-One. However, I think that with Tenryu losing the Triple Crown, I think winning the RWTL will probably be his payback.

Satoshi Kojima & Taiyo Kea Win it by beating Shinjiro Ohtani & Masato Tanaka.

That's just my pick because those are the two best teams in the tourny in my opinion.

That, quite honestly, looks like an appalling tournament. Williams,Rotundo, Arashi, Awesome AND John Tenta? That's just scary; thank *** Barton and Steele and Kronik are'nt in there. Friedman is a big talentless lug, so he'll suck plenty. This looks like a real misuse of All Japan's small roster of talented guys after a positive looking September tour; I'd have booked it like this.

Teams:

Kojima and Olumura
Tenryu and Araya
Mutoh and Hines
Otani and Tanaka
Hosaka and Honma
Nagai and Hijikata
Smith and Miyamoto
Kea and Talented US Indy Heavyweight (any suggestions?)

I'd say Kojima and Okumura beat Tenryu and Araya in one semi-final (Okumura pins Araya) and Otani and Tanaka beat Mutoh and Hines in the other (Tanaka pins Hines).

Since Otani and Tanaka are supposed to have a match with Akiyama and Saito, I expect both Hashimoto and Misawa are pressuring Mutoh to allow the Z1 team to at least reach the final. If the match happesn BEFORE the tag league, they lose and are built back up again by winning the tournament; if it happens AFTER, the reach the finals and lose so it doesn't look surprising wen they lose.

As the tournamentstnads, I predict a Kea/Kojima vs. Otani/Tanaka final as well, with Kojima beating Tanaka (which was supposed to happen before Tanaka signed with Hashimoto).

The final should definatley be Kojima & Kea vs either Ohtani & Tanaka or Nagai & Anjoh. Wouldn't be upset if either of those three teams won. Nagai could use a run with the tag straps to help elevate him.

I would say Tenryu and Araya win. I agree that Tenryu will get payback in some shape or form. Better the tag titles than another run with the Triple Crown.

Imagine this:
Final: Tenryu & John Tenta vs Mutoh & Mr X (we don't know who is him at this moment).
The match begins. A few moves after, SUDDENDLY, Mr X and John Tenta attack Mutoh and Tenryu ! Mr X remove his mask and revals him as FRED OTTOMAN, they grab the mic and say THE NATURALS DISASTERS ARE BACK STRONGER THAN EVER ! After this, they challenge Mutoh and Tenryu for the AJPW Tag Team titles, and win the match in a complete squash !... After, Vince Mac... no i can't make you nightmares.

If i see that, i'll pay Golgo 13 to kill Mutoh and Naturals Disasters !
