Im new to this forum, and I am a hugewrestling fan. However living in New York City, I don't get coverage of all japan pro wrestling. all I know is what I read from hereand wrestling magazines. I think I understand that keji Mutoh is the triple crown heavyweight Champion once again, but that is as much as i know. So if there is someone who can tell me what is giong on, that would be cool.
hey, all of us in North America don't get puroresu either. Do you buy tapes?
Anyway, the situation now is that Mutoh (as Muta persona) had taken the Triple Crown from "Grandpa" Gen'ichiro Tenryu. Then there's the upcoming WRESTLE-1 show where Mutoh will take on Bob Sapp, but then it'll be a non-title match, so hopefully the Triple Crown won't end up with Sapp. Kawada is still injured, Kojima and Kea are doing nothing, and Steele/Barton will probably get released and end up in New Japan.
Oh yeah, and seeing as there is no "Triple Crown Junior Champion", the title "Triple Crown Champion" is already referring to that one heavyweight position.
Abdullah the Butcher is a regular for the company. They also brought in John Tenta and Road Warrior Animal for their current tag team tournament.
Steele/Barton did indeed go to New Japan.
I think that they need to look to Zero-One who brings over American wrestlers who can actually work a bit.
