Not sure if this is appropriate here but it is AJPW related so thats why I posted it here.
First some background info.
I'm sure some are familiar with the wrestling simulator called TNM. In one of my forums, there are roughly 125 of us that run some circuits. Well, we made a Multi-Fed system and I chose AJPW. Well, we started with the real rosters and as the game goes on, we can basically pick up any free agents so I have some NJPW and NOAH wrestlers along with a few gaijins that don't normally wrestle for AJPW.
Anyways, I wanted to put my on uinque twist on things but not go too far off track of the traditional ways of AJPW and Puroresu as a whole. But I wanted to introduce a new AJPW title to my AJPW promotion and I don't know what to call it.
The title is going to be a title with a special rule set to it that it MUST be defended once a week making a title reign of that title either a good thing for the holder of the title or a burden as it is going to be a highly competitive title. Basically, if it is contested for like I plan to do with it, the long one holds the title belt, the more honor and respect he gets due to the title's nature of competition.
Can anybody please help me out on naming this title?
If you are wanting some linkage to past, yet defuct All Japan titles here is a list:
PWF Southern Hemiphere title. It was only held by Mark Lewin and there ws never a tourney for it. He was champ coming in.
PWF Pacific title. Held by King Curtis Iaukea. Same scenerio as above.
PWF Latin America title. Held only by Cyclone Negro. Same as above on history.
World Masked Wrestling title. Held only by the Destroyer. Yes he walked in with it like all the above.
If you want to go deeper into history within the lineage to All Japan then you need to go to the JwA.which had a Japanese title (held only by Rikidozan), the All Asian title (which Baba held in 1977), the Pacific Coast title (as above held by Rikidozan), the NWA international title (created by Lou Thesz and held by Rikidozan and Baba through its 15 year exsistance)
Thanks for the help guys. But I went with calling the title, the AJPW Fighting Apex Title.
Magister369 - Yes, I do post my card results on the web. I post them over at http://pub157.ezboard.com/btnmforums29722 as part of the TNM-MP 2002. You can check it out there. Its a multi-player/fed thing we are doing. I started about three weeks ago, and took AJPW. Anybody who isn't picked up by the others are concidered free-agents and can be signed which I did. I'm also puttin gmy own twist on AJPW. Maybe some won't like it but thats okay, because I sure like what I'm doing. My website for my AJPW circuit is at http://ajpw.enigma2k1.net
Basically, anything that happend in AJPW did occur but after I started, I'm able to do anything I want. In the TNM-MP, you take the current state of the promotion, storylines, roster, etc. and then you can do what you want after that. Its pretty cool.
