    Machines

Could someone tell me about the current Machines in ALL JAPAN. I heard it was Anjo and Hayashi under the hoods.

I remember the Hulk Machine and Giant Machine from my youth. That's going way back.

What's up with the % thing?

    Smile % Machines

Yoji Anjo is the 200% Machine but I'm not sure on who is the other or what's the % thing all about.

The 200% Machines were the heels of the old UWFI. Anjo created the stable as a means of competing on tag teams in New Japan and six-man bouts in WAR.

The original members were Anjo, Yoshihiro Takayama, and Kenichi Yamamoto. They won the WAR 6-Man title in June '96. They later split up as Anjo went more and more into indy stuff and neglected UWFI, another of the many factors why it collapsed by the end of the year.

What the hey are you talking about? I tried Search with "anjo" machine" "takayama" combined, and I only got this thread.

The heel group of Anjoh, Takayama, and Yamamoto was called "The Golden Cups." I remember Anjoh & Takayama once wore the 200% Machine mask just to make fun of Junji Hirata before their tag team match. They might have used the gimmick few more times, but the group wasn't really known as the "200% Machines".

Another thing is that some people spell it "Anjoh" while others spell "Anjo". Neither is right or wrong since Japanese language doesn't use Western alphabet (I know you already know these things, Yakuza, but just an info for others). If you use "anjoh" and "machine", you'll find this:
