Haha, Hashimoto's first Triple Crown challenger! (Enjoy, Luds...)

Arashi challenged Shin'ya Hashimoto to a Triple Crown title match. Keiji Mutoh is all but considering booking the match. There is talk of the match taking place in an All Japan ring on 4/12 at Nippon Budokan.

    Well...uh...how about that?

I have seen the face of Satan, and his name is Bill Apter.

I know... that's why I've been making so many comments about him... What a stinker...

That'll be AJ's version of Show vs. Bossman...

Not that Hashimoto sucks, but it'll stink...

Hasimoto vs Arashi? What is AJ thinking. If they are going to wrestle at 4/12 Budokan, hopefully that won't be the main event.

It must be part of Mutoh's secret master plan to sink the company as quickly as possible.

    well...

(source: someone who works with New Japan closely and attends just about every post-Tokyo Dome card party)
The original plan was to have both ZERO-ONE and All Japan as the satellite organizations of New Japan, but somehow it failed and allow them to become the actual competitions just like what happened with the original UWF.
If this rumor is true, Mutoh might be working for New Japan after all.

I agree. The only point to that match would be to continue to sink the company. Remember when he took over and it was deemed a good thing?

If Mutoh would stop doing really stupid things, like this, and just be the kind of President he was supposed to be in the first place, All Japan would be in much better shape. I don't think anyone would have ever concieved that Mutoh would sink tons of money into Goldberg and Wrestle-1. I can see how Wrestle-1 may have seemed like a good idea on the surface, but Goldberg? Gimme a break.

Personally, I was hoping Hashimoto's first challenger would be the wrestling bear, and I was sure that Mutoh would have come through on that one for me.
