I could not disagree with you more. I was the first to vote on this thread and my question is, what has Kojima done in an AJPW ring to warrant a title reign, especially over Kawada?
I do not want to get into the politics within the promtion if possible. My point is it was Kawada's to win on the simple merit of the AJPW fans identify with him moreso than any one else within the promotion.

kojima and kea are great wrestlers but they are years away from winning the big one. they need to establish themselves first; with - and this is crucial - big breakthrough wins against big puro stars in singles matches. not by doing great against them or by being their tag team partner. they gotta get that, otherwise they aren't credible champs.

He is a Young and coming star, and since I know the majority of people are looking for Kawada to having a long reign, I put Honma in there because he could be a contender in about six months or so giving the proper push.

Mrs. Baba is no longer in charge, and Kawada has met with him, seemingly indicating that they're letting bygones be bygones. Smart decision on Kawada's part, if they're aiming to bring him back some way.
