    Kawada vs. Hashimoto on 02/22

The long awaited regaining match for Hashimoto is set for February 22. Who will win? Can Hash regain his title or will Dangerous K pull out another.

Kawada will win. That's why they should have just kept the title on Hashimoto during that period... Now this "rematch" feels like a regular title match.

If Hashimoto was still champ, this would be a huge match! Everyone would be behind Kawada!

By brainbuster if he can lift him

I say a Kicking contest at the end where both men look like they might go down for the count on the next one could be a great ending...

My guess would be AKIRA would be the mystery wrestler. He and Mutoh were buddies in New Japan no?

A Hardcore Tag Team Match in All Japan? What is Muto smokin', drinkin' and eatin'? I wouldn't be surprised if barbed wire were involved in this

He's got some good death-matchers in there, Honma and NOSAWA are pretty good.

Well Kawada defeated Hashimoto by Knockout in nearly 20 minutes.

    Is everyone in shock? Nope

The interesting part is that it was a TKO. ZERO-ONE manager Nakamura thew in the towel for Hashimoto when Kawada placed him in the Stretch Plum. This suprised me, as when was the last time in a main event in All Japan was determined by a submission hold? I know there was that lousy finish to the match where Mutoh had Kawada in a figure four and Fuchi threw in the towel because Kawada wouldn't give up, but I think this being All Japan's last Budohkan show, I think everyone involved wanted it to be memorable. It made Hashimoto look strong (I guess,) by not tapping out,but Kawada wins and retains the Triple Crown Heavyweight Title on the last (at least for the forseeable future) All Japan Budohkan show.

I plan on getting this on tape,if for not other reason that it the last AJ show in this historic building.

By the way, why did the have Okamura in the opening match? When are they going to elevate some worthwhile talent?

    T.R!

Well said LUDS, We all know Mutoh elevates no one unless he is buddies with them, as it might endanger his ego!
