Would someone be able to tell me Kendo KaShin's most recent matches since before he went AWOL? I haven't been keeping up in the past few months and have found it difficult to find out about his recent title defences and non-title match ups in AJPW... I would appreciate an impartial response, as their appears to be a lot of anti KaShin members here.......
1. (5/10/02 @ Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium #2) Kendo Kashin beat Gran Naniwa (14:24) with a cross armbreaker (1st defense).
2. (7/17/02 @ Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium) Kendo Kashin beat Gran Hamada (11:38) with an avalanche-style cross armbreaker (2nd defense).
3. (10/19/02 @ Niigata City Gymnasium) Kendo Kashin beat Jimmy Yang (6:47) with a cross armbreaker (3rd defense).
4. (12/6/02 @ Tokyo Nippon Budokan) Kendo Kashin beat Tatsuhito Takaiwa (10:56) with a high-angle front cradle (4th defense).
5. (4/12/03 @ Tokyo Nippon Budokan) Kendo Kashin beat Carl Contini (8:55) with a cross armbreaker (5th defense).
6. (7/19/03 @ Tokyo Nippon Budokan) Kendo Kashin beat Ryuji Hijikata (9:58) with a cross armbreaker (6th defense).
7. (9/6/03 @ Tokyo Nippon Budokan) Kendo Kashin beat Great Sasuke (15:05) with a cross armbreaker (7th defense).
8. (10/26/03 @ Tokyo Nippon Budokan) Kendo Kashin beat Dr. Wagner Jr. (16:32) with a cross armbreaker cradle (8th defense).
I have lot all my respect for my namesake...there I would like to be known as WilliamsFan from now on...I feel disgraced with the name of Edge on me...
I was quite pleased with Kendo KaShin's title reign, I thought it gave the title a lot of creibilty with such a solid reign and a solid worker, but his disappearance......is disappointing to say the least...Mind you I seem to be the worlds only KaShin fan....Oh well.
You might just be right about being KaShin's only fan.... not that I have anything against the guy, just never really dug any of his matches outside of a few with Lyger and Tanaka (and having good matches with them isn't exactly saying much). What's the story on him going AWOL anyway? Any news on that?
Going to New Japan at the present time wouldn't exactly be a safe investment now would it? But popping up in time for NOAH's first Tokio Dome show? That'd be a safe investment
I'm a fan of Kashin's style, I can understand how few could have the patience for it, it's very paced, specific and methodical.....some might say like Triple H, in some repects. But he seems to me to be focused, learning more and more as he goes on, and to be wary of his own position.

That is a possibility especially considering his dark match that he had earlier.
