Former All Japan Triple Crown Champion "Dr. Death" Steve Williams has returned to All Japan. He will be working the Kawada produced show at Korakuen Hall on 7/22. This would be Doc’s first time in an All-Japan ring since January 2003.

Not to sound cheesy but, "The Doctor is in, and he will backdrop you now".

This is great news for AJ, and a good move by Mutoh or Kawada to bring him back. AJ is in desperate need of main event Heavyweights, and although Steve Williams is way past his prime, he can still go for a good 20 minutes and give a good performance.

I hope that this isn't just for 1 show...

But Dr. Death able to wrestle, after the throat surgery et al.

I'm sure he'd be at least able to work the usual 15 minute heavyweight match...

I could see him wrestle Tanahashi for sure, but I don't expect NJ to want to push anyone but their own young lions right now as they have so many good ones. I still think it'll be either Wolf or Yano who defeats Tanahashi.

EDIT: It seems that it is for the U-30 now!
