    2004 Rwtl

Saw the blocks for the RWTL upcoming

    Block A
    1. Satoshi Kojima & Kaz Hayashi (RWTL 2003 winners)
    2. Keiji Muto & Osamu Nishimura
    3. D-Lo Brown & Buchanan
    4. Great Muta & Love Machine Steele
    5. Tomoaki Honma & Kohei Suwama

    Block B
    1. Toshiaki Kawada & TBA
    2. Taiyo Kea & Jamal
    3. Kensuke Sasaki & Katsuhiko Nakajima
    4. Super Love Machine & Love Machine Arashi
    5. Nobutaka Araya & Nobukazu Hirai

One question, how in the world are Muto going to pull off being himself & Great Muta in the same block? I could probably see if in different blocks. I do like the idea of giving the fans the Greta Muta and Muto as an additional anniversary gift.

The Love Machines brought out another "Greak Muta" to challenge Muto recently. Maybe that's who he is?

Any ideas on whom these guys are? Love Machine Steele (Jim Steele is still under contract to NJ)? I have no idea.

My early prediction on a winner is Muto/Nishi. They look like they have the best team so far.

For all we know it could be George the animal Steele...

I haven't seen Steele's name on a card recently so it could be him...

    I can see Muto&Nishimura winning...

Has anyone seen a picture of this other Great Muta? It could be the gaijin that New Japan used in 02 after Mutoh's jump to All Japan. The costume was different from the real Great Muta's, and he was a good worker(whoever he was).

personally seeing as the winners might get a shot at negata & kashin's ajpw tag titles(acording to puroresufan.com). My pick is for kojima/kaz to win their block with muto/nish being a very close second. then beating kawada/whoever with kojima pining kawada's partner to set up kojima Vs kawada for the triple crown.

Muto/Nishimura falling to MUTA/Steel, Kawada/Nagai falling to Love Machines & Kensuke/Nakajima falling to Kea/Jamal can all be considered Upsets.

Edit: I forgot to mention that I also dislike NOSAWA from time to time.

Thanks for the results Mr. Bread. I couldn't find them anywhere. A couple points:

I guess Love Machine Steele is Jim Steele since he used the Turbo Drop as his finisher (but still doesn't prove anything).

I bet Kawada/Fuchi v. Sasaki/Nakajima was a good one. This Nakajima kid is doing very well as such a young age. Keep up the good work youngster!

Muto making mention of Kokushi going after MUTA. That would rock!

I would say the finals is a toss up between 4 teams: Muto/Nishi, Kawada/Nagai, Kojima/Kaz, Kea/Jamal.... if MUTA/Steele keep up their winning streak just to build MUTA/Muto I'll be a little disappointed. I like Stamboli & Steele but beating guys like Muto & Honma? Come on. They really need to build Honma. Why didn't they let him team with Miyamoto. Tumeric Storm was a great tag team for AJ.

I'mma say Kawada/Nagai will take it all or Kojima/Hayashi will go back to back... Love Machine Steele I think is Jim Steele... Hayashi/Kojima have been doing well in the whole RWTL, so have Kawada/Nagai also been doing good... Some I'mma go on record and say the finals will be Kawada/Nagai vs. Kojima/Hayashi with Kawada over Kojima with a Powerbomb or Kojima over Kawada with a Lariat, this helping build up a Kawada vs. Kojima TC Title Match in the near future, where Kojima beats Kawada for the TC Title.
