    Mutoh vs. WWE

All Japan Pro Wrestling President Keiji Mutoh has publicly declared war on the WWE because the evil foreigners are invading Japan. "Vince Mutoh" (thank you Daily Sports for that visual) is looking to reconstruct All Japan into a global product using global talent, whatever that is supposed to mean. Maybe I was the only one who didn't know that Jamal was native. Mutoh is further defending the honor of Japan by running the Nippon Budokan with a Baba Memorial show head to head with WWE in Saitama Super Arena. WWE has always done good business in Japan, although the many WWE fans are not actually fans of puroresu. Let's assume that AJ pulls off a good gate with the Baba Memorial show. If that does work head to head with WWE what kind of global expansion does Vinny Mu have up his sleave?

I wouldn't mind seeing a show where is was WWE vs AJPW, but this whole thing with Mutoh declairing war with WWE over talent from overseas it not a good thing, it isn't like all of AJPW's talent is now all american or what not. The way I look at it is this...their are more posibilities if they had foreigners in their instead of all domestic wrestlers.

I really can't see anybody other than Benoit, Angle and Jericho pulling a decent match in Japan.

Seriously, who'd want to see trip vs. Mutoh?

I thought Mutoh was already doing this in All Japan? Will he change his theme to "No Chance In Hell"? LOL

    You're forgetting Eddie Guerrero, Luds.

Well, at least you stopped admitting that Christian is any good.

The really telling thing is none of those four (Benoit, Angle, Jericho, Guerrero) are as good as they used to be, but they're passable enough.

Maybe this whole thing has to do with his talk with Shane McMahon a year ago. Maybe Mutoh is ****ed that WWE didn't hire him, but hey what can you do. I want to see an invasion of WWE!!!!!!!!

I never said that Marty, I do think that Christian is very good, but just doesn't have much to do in WWE. I think that he'd work much better in Japan.

I listed him there just cause his team with Tomko is a real WWE tag.

Ah, okay. Hope you don't mind, but I'm souring on Christian lately, certainly from about the past year or so. His match against Jericho at WrestleMania wasn't that good, and the worse parts of the match were the areas controlled by him. He's kind of reminding me of Michael P.S. Hayes, good mic skills, but average-at-best ring ability.

Honestly Marty I am with you about Christian...to me also he lacks in several aspects in wrestling. Good mic appeal, but his in ring preformance just flat out stinks. I saw his match with Y2J and I almost canned the PPV after seeing that match...I am that serious. To me Christian wont make it in the wrestling business in the long run for his lack of in-ring talent.

Absolutely... though Christian was pretty good when teaming with Edge before the slump WWE went in.
