Rico replaced D-Lo Brown to team with Bull Buchanan on todays Tokyo Korakuen Hall card
They beat Mitsuya Nagai & Masayuki Naruse to win the All Japan All Asia tag Team Titles after 24 min when Buchanan pinned Nagai
Rico in All Japan ?

I'm glad Rico's landed on his feet with this gig. He had a horribly booked WWE run, after being a great tough-guy character in OVW. Hope he continues his success in All Japan; he deserves it.

I'm glad for him as well, he was a great wrestler saddled with the WWE experience...I just wonder what gimmick he has...

Good for him.
He's by far the best ex-WWE reject in AJ.
The only one who can actually put on a good match by himself.

Gimmickly speaking, he belongs in HUSTLE or DDT. But his ring work is great, especially for someone his age. This should prove to be a big pick up for AJ if they let him work. Best of luck to the former American Gladiators Champion.
Just imagine the possibilities of Rico and Danshoku Dino as a team.

Rico's Raw Magazine colum cracked me up so hard I was crying in the pharmacy readin it. The funniest was when he was talking about the 1-2-3 Kid's (X-Pac) tights. Still cracks me up.

Mutoh makes unused WWE talent into great wrestlers again...oh how i love it. Who is next? What about Rosey and then we could have a 3 minute warning reunion....

I can't say that I'm thrilled that Rico & Buchanan are the All Asian champs. While Muto is pushing ex-WWE talent that was used badly, talent like Nagai are being sacrificed. Will using ex-WWE Heat & Velocity wrestlers help All Japan in the long run? Are we going to see A-Train & Palumbo as the Doubles champions?

I hope not because then AJPW would turn into a WWE for the WWE rejects and that would just make things weird. Even though thats what it looks like, I just can't understand why Mutoh is pushing all the RO&D guys (even though i like them) I mean over the last couple of weeks the RO&D guys and the Voodoo Murders have beat everyone. If A-Train comes to AJPW then i won't be suprised later on if Rosey ends up there. Just a thought
