Why on earth did they have Kensuke job to Giant Bernard after beating Kojima a day earlier?

LOL. Thank you Haiku cause I definitley was about to ask that question.

Where does Mutoh get these guys? With the exception of the gaijin wrestlers and the freelancers (TARU, Kondo, et al) I wonder where does Mutoh find these wrestlers? I hope it's not Nathan Jones under a lame gimmick.

Actually, even though I am a fan of Sasaki and not really a fan of A-Train, I don't mind the move. In a points system tournament, you can't have every person win that should, it would be incredibly boring. Since A-Train is new, they had to give him a big win against someone so that down the road he can say in a promo "I beat Sasaki!!! ROOOAARR!!!" I mean if A-Train went over Sasaki in the finals, that would be another story altogether. They also might have played it up since Sasaki had just gone almost 30 minutes the day before, he wasn't 100% in the match.

Who do you guys see winning? I have Kojima and Kawada in the Finals, with Kawada going over to set up a re-match down the road for the Triple Crown. I'd say that Sasaki and Mutoh will be the other two to reach the semi-finals, but I think they need to put at least one of the newer wrestlers in there.

    3. TAKA Michinoku & Jamal beat TARU & "brother" YASSHI (9:01) when Jamal used the Landing Sausage on YASSHI.
    4. Champion Carnival - Block A: Arashi [2] beat Kensuke Sasaki [2] (7:11) with an avalanche powerbomb.

Love Machine Arashi is no more, he returned to being just Arashi...but having him beat Sasaki??????? I think Kawada will make the finals against one of the gaijin...

Hmmm yea, Kawada seems like a lock for the finals at this point, unless he gets upset in the semi-finals.

I think it would be strange if Kojima didn't make the finals, considering the push he is currently in. But at this point I can definitely see Bernard or Buchanan at least making it to the semis, so one of them might pull an upset and make it to the final.

Sasaki sure is getting the short end of the stick, how much did they have to pay him to lose to both A-Train and Arashi....

Sasaki is probably out of the semis. Which I think is a shame. I can see A-Train getting in there with Kojima. But if he beats Kojima in their Block match I'll flip out I would like to see Muto & Kawada in another classic in the semis. The Carnival is already too crowded with gaijins. I could see a Kawada & Kojima final with Kawada going the distance with the Iron Man.

my slightly perverse prediction block a
kojima draws with bernard & arashi(leaving him at 5)
bernard draws with kojima, loses to arashi, loses to kea(5pts)
arashi draws with kojima, beats bernard(5pts)
kea beats bernard, beats kondo, beats sasaki(9pts)

muto & kawada win out on their bracket

so we have a three way semi semi final in block a with kojima going over in 59 with bernard & arashi then kea beats kojima around 55 due to kojima being exsausted.

block b semi muto Vs kawada kawada goes over

    final kea over kawada

    4. Champion Carnival - Block A: Taiyo Kea [3] vs. Giant Bernard [4] (10:51) ended when both got counted out.

I'd rather see Mutoh win it than Bernard. What a terrible ring name for him too. If they weren't going to call him Albert, or Albert Train, or Baldo Train or something that resembles his WWE name, why not go for cheap heat and call him Bullet Train?
