    Kawada's gnashers

Over on DVDVRMB someone brought up the question how Kawada lost his front teef. Obviously, everyone was too busy to discuss whether Baba was a member of the homosexual race to answer it so since I've been wondering as well... does anyone know who knocked 'em out? And when? And how?

My money is on Hansen, by Lariato.

I don't know, and I've always wondered myself, but Hansen's a safe bet.
According to Mick Foley's book, "Have a Nice Day", Hansen is quite blind and wouldn't wear glasses in the ring (for obvious reasons). When he swings for the Lariatoh he's really just swinging blindly at some fuzzy asian guy. Kinda scary, really. I wouldn't want to wrestle him.
    LARIATOOOOOOOOOH!!

Check it out, a puroresu e-fed.

Or a big white guy like Vader. I wonder if Stan ever knocked anyone else's eye out? He was still a heck of a wrestler, blindness or no blindness.

That was a botched bodyslam, not a lariat.

well, i believe that the vader eye thing happened in a match in early 1990 or 1991. I have the match and its crazy. Vader is in the old full body suit getup and mask but outa nowhere he just jerks the mask off and he looks like the guy from the goonies. One eye all bulged out and stuff, nasty i say nasty. As for kawada, i've always wondered the same, but i'm sure it was some accident rather than someone being too stiff with him.

As Hisa said it was a botched bodyslam, but the WWWF billed it as the Lariat that broke Bruno's neck. Was a huge program for a very green Hansen, and really got the Lariotoooo over..
