Bernard to Challenge for the TC

Oh happy day. That's going to be a slobberknocker. At least this is someone Kojima should be able to beat cleanly, but then again, he did get beat by Jamal, so you never know. I never thought All Japan would beat Vince to headlining a major show with A-Train. That seems fundamentally wrong somehow. Mark your calendars, 7/26 is the big day.

I agree. I read that yesterday over at Oudou Love and tried to "will" it to not be true. Aren't there better wrestlers that Kojima could put on a better match with? Kea, Tenryu, Honma, even Muto. A-Train wasn't even getting WWE title matches why does he deserve a TC shot?

If Bernard was supposed to be the gaijin ace, that would be one thing. I'm not a big fan of his work, but if he was the top gaijin, I would understand why he's getting a title shot, especially so soon into his run with AJ. Now it seems like he's trying to prove that he is worthy of the title shot, almost as though he knows he doesn't deserve it.

Personally, I think they'd be a billion times better off calling TNA and having the NWA World Heavyweight Champion lay down for Kojima. The NWA Title means more in Japan than it does in the states, and gives AJ immediate credibility as a challenger for the TC. Not to mention that the match would reek of awesomeness.

    I agree to disagree Trade.

Agreed, a Kojima/AJ match would blow the roof off in Japan. But can AJ work the championship style matches in Japan that run almost 30 minutes. this is a lot different from TNA and Ring Of Honor (which is as close to an American Style Strong Style promotion you will get).

Disagree. You know there is no way that TNA will let AJ job to Satoshi Kojima, just like there is no way All Japan would let Kojima job to AJ Styles. If Jarrett was still champion, even he would not have jobbed to Kojima, why cause TNA would have refused to let another person hold their belt just as All Japan, remember Shinya Hashimoto?, let an outsider hold the Triple Crown and now would refuse to let another one do so.
