I thought they were going to use Jamal as a transitional champ to get the belt on Akebono. AJ and WWE would start a working relationship and go to the Tokyo Dome with the Wrestlemania rematch of Akebono vs. Big Show in a sumo match, only this time the Triple Crown is on the line.

Akebono has arrived! The former Yokozuna, whose downfall story has gripped Japan over the last couple of years, will be on... EVERY SHOW on the upcoming "SUMMER IMPACT 2005" tour! All Japan simply posted a snippet saying Akebono would urgently participate on the tour, possibly to study pro wrestling, which he is considering switching to after losing over and over again in both K-1 and MMA fights. No matches or anything have been announced yet, but this is a huge development for All Japan, due to the attention it is likely to catch...

Actually Akebono is under 500 lbs. (475), I'm interested in seeing him wrestle, especially after that debacle at Wrestlemania.
