Hey Evereybody. I personally think that it would be in Misawa and AJPW's best interest to reconcile their differences. I really think everybody who left AJPW with Misawa to form NOAH should go back to AJPW. It would be beneficial to everybody involved, because it would mean bigger business for one promotion rather than split business between two. Does anybody think AJPW and everybody who left AJPW to form NOAH will ever reconcile and be in the same promotion, AJPW, again?
Misawa did express interest in working with Kawada again this year, but as for a total union, no chance. Mutoh and Misawa maybe friends but there is too much ego there to form a marriage between the two.
I can't see a marriage between the two lasting very long. Come bedtime they'd both want to be on top, neither would compromise and they'd be filing for divorce faster than the AWA and WCCW. Picturing Misawa in an apron is pretty funny though.
If such a reconciliation did happen (which it won't unless Misawa loses all of his money) it could be the best thing to happen to both sides, if someone other than Mutoh or Misawa had the book. With the influx of all of NOAH's stars you would have a whole crop of guys who haven't beaten Kojima a million times that you could use to put Kojima over to try and get him back to where he was when he left New Japan(to be fair though, New Japan wouldn't have done anything with him anyway). NOAH has something that resembles a junior division, unlike All Japan, and adding TAKA and Kaz to it would make for a ton of new matchups. There will also be a TON of people to help teach Suwama. And plenty of other things that would be great for both sides. But Misawa and Mutoh trying to work together in the office doesn't have the slightest chance of working as well as Russo and Bischoff did sharing booking duties.
You know, the part where *** says "you worthless mortals don't do what I say, so screw alla ya'll except for Noah and his ho" and floods the planet for 40 days? Even heathens know about Noah and the ark.
Genesis VI. *** wipes out everyone except for Noah and his family and the animals that they crammed onto the ark. I was merely implying that most uncivilized savages know the story.
It's actually named after Misawa's second daughter.
OK, that's not true. Seriously though, the name is a metaphor. NOAH is composed of the survivors of Tsunami Motoko that destroyed the world that was All Japan Pro Wrestling. Deeper parallels can be made by reading Genesis and applying it to the split.
