The Kaientai members I remember were Dick Togo, Men's Teioh, Funaki and TAKA Michinoku.

Not to mention Kaz Hayashi. He works so hard, and even now, no one appreciates or remembers him. Poor guy.

Talk about blasts from the past, I was watching an older NJPW tape and it had the pre-Kaientai TAKA, Terry Boy, Shiryu, and SATO as they were named back when Sasuke was really getting his big NJPW push.

I always liked Kaz, just didn't know he was in Kaientai.

I think Dick is still Freelance like he's been for the past few years.

I haven't really kept up with Dick Togo. But my favorite match of his was when he faced Liger. That was a sweet match. That was the first time I ever saw dick togo. When I saw it I was like "Wo this guy is very agile for robust kind of guy."

Or that he's been all over the indy scene with Kaientai DX reunions, a mini-feud with TAKA and a hostile takeover of DDT, all this year...

Nah, your thinking about MEN's Teioh.

Yes, MPRO is still around, it's just that many workes have left, because of financial problems. From Japan, well I can atleast say that Dragon Gate, dragondoor and Osaka Pro atleast have the lucha libre influence.

No, he hasn't retired. As Supah Indy & Tradewynd previously mentioned, he's a freelancer and work's for various Indy's and he poped up in NJ again as a member of CTU and he took off Tiger Mask IV mask off and challenged him for the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Title when TMIV was the champ., but obviously, Togo came alittle short and lost to TMIV. As Tradewynd also mentioned, Togo has been really tearing it up in DDT, he was the leader of faction (Can't remember the name of the faction though) that was trying to take over, wich were a bunch of guys acting like cubans dressed with camouflage and walking around with cuban flags.
