After reading several posts and stories it's sort of confusing to me. Has anyone revived FMW or is it dead and gone ? What is this WEW ? Also, are any of the FMW wrestlers wrestling anywhere else ?
Thank you for the info...as a newbie this is all very fascinating to me and i am enjoying reading all the history immensely. Wish i could find more stories to read !!!!
FMW's concept has effectively divided among 3 promotions, all of which often share talent.
WEW, by Hiromichi Fuyuki, named after the WEW championships (which it revived as its own) and oriented toward American trashy entertainment.
WMF by Hayabusa, uses less of it, and more traditional action. Hayabusa himself has yet to return, but so far the action is good, no death matches and no gimmicks other than the ones people wear.
And finally, Onita FMW by Atsushi Onita, only has the name as a reminder of FMW's old death match glory days. Single matches as main events are rare.
