That depends. If Japanese stables are like certain American stables, then you'd have to at least have 3 or 4 of the original TNR members for it to constitute as an official version of TNR.
When you think about it, the nWo really just started out as DX-WCW (but the lawsuit potential, of course...), and the large DX was just The Kliq (which is, of course, still around backstage on RAW; poor SmackDown wrestler Billy Gunn lost his Kliq booking power after getting kicked out of DX on air a couple of years ago).
I'm zonking out here...
Where was I? Oh yeah, Team No Respect. As long as 2 or 3 other original TNR members are in the IA with Kuroda, they can call it Team No Respect, they can call it Team Who Gives A Crap 2003 (actually, that would make a great JPN stable name considering the loopy, roundabout titles they have for their shows and catchphrases), or they can call it Team Monkeys Flying Out Of My Butt Millennium Style for all anyone cares. If they model themselves after the nWo (the stupid parts like the insane amount of run-ins, of course), then they probably wouldn't deserve to even call themselves the Independent Army, the bunch of posers.
BTW, who's in the IA right now?
