.when i look back at the old FMW matches, (i mean like Onita vs. Goto in the first electified barbed wire matches), it's a lot different. at that time we saw more mixed matrial wrestling, even just straight up boxing and stuff. that change is to be expected over so many years.

.still, with the feel of the matches, which have been more recently PURORESU-like in the fact that the angles have been based on competitive rivalry and etc. that was happening when Fuyuki was booking the matches. Is he still now?

.another issue i'd like to adress is what is happening with masato tanaka. if he moves on to new japan or even maybe noah or all japan i think it could go well. i think his style mixes with all types of workers. last i heard, he was going to be the focus of a ECW-ish promotion in Japan that Onita was going to start. but that was a while back and school keeps me out of touch with current goings on..
