Former FMW president Shouichi Arai was found dead in the morning of 16th in a park in Tokyo. Police found a letter which seemed to be the will, so they consider his death as a suicide.

I heard he was also in some serious sept which lead to his suicide. It always sucks when some body dies even if he did bring down FMW, too. Sad news to hear.

So the rumor is true. The first I've hear of this was on that moron's Zach Arnold's site so I didnt believe it, but Hisa's sources are legit so it must be true.

Hey...you can't place blame on Arai...lot's of factors contrbuited to FMW's demise. That's like blaming Paul Heyman for ECW's problems, or Uncle Eric for WCW's problems..

It will certainly be wierd to watch all my FMW tapes during the Fuyuki regime and think of all the horrible things that have happened to some of the top guys from the fed.

HAYABUSA: paralyzed.

FUYUKI: Instestinal cancer, retires.

MR. ARAI: Took his own life.

This is truly a horrible thing to happen and I hope that Onita can find a way to ressurect a great fed, a fed that helped me get into puro in the first place.

Another question, is Zach Morris considered to be a jerk by the online puro community? I dont mean to flame or anything, but he seems unnecessarily arrogant and negative about everything. Just wondering...

Seriously... Zach Arnold has fans, but he also has a lot of critics. I know two people on this board who at one point waged a serious war of words against him... but we grew up when we left another board (I am not going to quote what board it was for the sakes of Hisa... this is by far a more superior forum with far more serious fans, not guys complaining about every aspect of american wrestling and how crap your view is)

As for Mr. Arai, I really feel bad he had to die that young. He recently published a book with a lot of backstage stories of FMW(totally breaking kayfabe of course). Maybe it was his will after all.
