What is the best, most violent deathmatch highspot you've ever seen? Mine are both Supreme spots.

1) Supreme v. John Kronus, supreme gets whipped into the barbed wire ropes and his fat self broke the wire from baptised in blood I

2)Supreme when he got set on fire(just for the sheer disturbingness of it)

sabu v. funk, ecw, barbed wire. sabu misses funk, slices open left bicep, then tapes it up and fights on. not the best, but interesting.

I personally liked Dusty Rhodes versus Abdullah the Butcher in Florida. I want to say it was about 1979, it was a great match. Abdullah brought out the fork and Dusty came in with the bullrope and they were fighting all over the place (stands lockerrooms, outside etc.) I wish I could track down tapes of that match, Ole Anderson anb Bob Brown among others had to end up separating these two leviathans. It was a really great match.

I can remember Matsunaga powerbombing somebody (cant remember who) off of a Scaffold onto a barbed wire board. That was pretty cool.

Or at an Indy show in Dublin I was at last month, Justice pain gave Zandig an angle slam through a barbed wire board set up between two chairs. Probably wouldnt have been as good if I hadnt been there in person.

I've seen pictures of Mammoth Sasaki powerbombing people off of vans onto tables right on concrete, I think thats pretty cool if not brutal. And Justice pain does kinda of a modified Angle Slam, he like hooks like arm in. Still has the same effect. CZW is cool but it just seems like old guys bashing lightbulbs over kids. It doesent have the same impact on me.

i kinda like the one where during a fire match, the winger set up abdullah the kobayashi on some tables laid side to side and senton bombed onto them from the top of an 18 wheeler. granted it wasn't a huge looking move but when winger landed, his lower back landed on the other table which did not break and that looked like it hurt an awful lot.

I remember that, but it didn't take Winger that long to get back into the ring before his knee got dropped on the flaming chair hehe.

why not have a pyromaniac wrestler tournament. get all the wrestlers who like to use fire together and see what happens. being a pyromaniac, i would love to see everyone just start inventing new ways to throw a dude through a flaming table.

Mine would have to be Hell in the Cell Mick Foley (Mankind) vs. Undertaker. That was the most gruesome thing I have ever witnessed, and I have seen a lot.

Best Deathmatch spot? hmmmm..... I went through my (limited) video library and came up with these ones that made me cringe.....

Nakamaki & Matsunaga vs. Nagasaki & Yamakawa Scaffold Death Match: Shoji Nakamaki holds Seiji Yamakawa onto a barbed wire board across two tables while Mitsuhiro Matsunaga does a double-knee drop from the top of the scaffold (about 12 ft).

Nakamaki & Yamakawa vs. Goto & Mr. X Barbed Wire/thumbtack/Glass Match: Tarzan Goto slams Nakamaki through a pane of glass, then uses a shard of glass to carve the **** out of Nakamaki's arm. The gash looks really deep on that one.

Shadow WX vs. Yamakawa Barbed Wire/Lightbulb/Fire Match: Shadow throws a broken light bulb at Yamakawa as he tries to climb down a ladder from a trailer. The bulb sticks. The cut was about 2 inches deep.

Headhunters vs. Nakamaki & Ono: Nakamaki is sandwiched between two barbed wire boards while one of the Headhunters moonsaults onto him. the Headhunters are two of the scariest wrestlers out there.

FMW Barbed Wire Spider Net Double Hell Glass Match: Leatherface breaks glass across Matsunaga's chest with an "iron toothbrush".

There was also one I heard of but haven't seen (it was in Mick Foley's book)... Leatherface leg-drops a piece of a bed of nails onto the back of Ono's neck.

There is things much more gruesome unfortunatly. One of the most disgusting things in my short viewing of puroresu is when Mr.Pogo took his dull sickle and proceeded to try to gut Atsushi Onita with it. Just thinking of it makes me want to worship the toilet throne.

newjack taking the stapler gun to mike awesome and darn near missing his eye should at least be mentioned. not the greatest but still hard to watch.

First, I would like to appologize for my use of a cencored vulgar word. I mistakenly thought a self-censored word would have been acceptable. I was wrong, and it will not happen again.

Second, I would like to relate what I thought was the funniest Deathmatch spot... Mr. Gannosake vs. H (Hayabusa) in their infamous Anal Bomb Match. I have not seen the entire match, just the ending. My friends nearly wore a hole in the video tape rewinding that one over and over (to quote one of them on the fourth time viewing: "It's just wrong!").
