Zandig might not have put his body on the line like the others on the list, but I have seen most of his matches and most of them involve a lot of blood and chaos.
The term "hardcore" means much more than bloodshed and weaponry alone. It also means pushing yourself beyond your threshold in order to entertain the fans, as well as work ethic. That said, my version of a hardcore Hall of Fame would be somewhat different. To wit:
