As many of you know, I'm not a WWE fan at all. But, I do pity the American wrestling fan who has nothing left to watch, and I am growing increasingly tired of having no free wrestling to watch(tape money and Galavision subscription rates are'nt endless.) So, here's a litte challenge for all the fantasy bookers on this forum (there are many, I know!).

The task is simple. Create and maintain an alternative to the WWE, booking matches and angles, hiring and firing wrestlers and explaining everything you do to me.

I'm not going to make you start this at indy level. I'll set the scenario.

You have a financial backer who believes wrestling, and in perticular, your venture will succeed. He's willing to let you do whatever you want on your wrestling show, but there must not be anything unsuitable for the audience watching your TV show. He's willing to let you have a large amount of money to sign talent, but nly if you can gurantee him it will help your company.

He's secured you a weekly, two hour wrestling show from seven p.m. to nine p.m. on a national free TV network, and also has a PPV outlet for you.

He's willing to let you talk to foreign promoters about talent exchanges, so long as there are always more naitive than foreign wrestlers.

Start of by selecting your first thirty wrestlers; you're going o be kicking off your new venture with a big PPV show, so mak them count; you can have any American, Canadian or Peurto Rican wrestler not currently under contract to the WWE on your roster, and you can also sign away some mexican or British wrestlers if you need to; no japanese talent yet; that will be allowed when you have become alittle more sucessful!

Every week, 'll write a summary of happenings in our fantasy world's wrestling buisness; write-ups from the Wrestling Observer and other dirt sheets of your shows, pretend fan feedback and other happenings with regards to wrestlers leaving companies, how they are feeling and so on. If you could, do write ups and play-by-play for your federation's TV shows; if mot, just explai the angle as it goes along.

I'll throw in a few nasty or pleasent surprises as we go along!
