    Killer Khan

Alright everyone, maybe someone can help me out here. I've been wondering this since I was about 7-9 years old. I'm from Buffalo, NY, and I remember around 1987-88 ish going to 2 WWF cards in a row there. Hulk defended agains Killer Khan both times. The first time he got the mist and ACTUALLY LOST by CO, which was amazing to me at the time. This of course set up the rematch a couple of months later, where Hogan won. I know though I have never seen Khan's name on any SNME match list, any house show result, any PPV, any major card. How long was he in the WWF? What was his purpose. Basically, what was the deal? It seemed like it could be a money maker and all.

I think he was in the WWF for about 6-9 months. That was during their "foreign monster to be destroyed by the Orange Goblin" stage. INteresting that you mention the two matches in Buffalo between Khan and the Goblin. They pulled the same thing at the Old Capital Centre. In the 1st match, Khan won by CO (mist) and in the second Hogan won a stretcher match when he caught the mist and threw it back in Khan's face.

What ever happened to him anyway?

After his 2nd (or 3rd?) WWF stint, he went back to Japan and retired. He now has a bar in Tokyo called "Kan-chan". Even before his retirement, he was known as a good chef.

Since his retirement, the only major appearance he made in the pro-wrestling card was the retirement ceremony of Antonio Inoki.

I don't exactly remember how long his last stint in the WWF was, but he wasn't there for a real long time.

In addition to his feud with Hogan, the other thing he was probably most famous (or infamous) for during that brief tenure was basically ridding the promotion of the legendary Outback Jack after spraying mist in his eyes.
