Gedo Question?

Someone please enlighten this ignorant bloke about Gedo!!!!

I have the Jcup tourneys and was subjected to Geo eeking his way through the tourney only to find him win over Wild Pegasus Chris Benoit. Benoit now in wwe may not be half the worker he was in his Japan days but my lord that was just terrible. I saw Gedo crotch Dos Caras to get the win and rip his mask off amongst other things. The match between him and Lyger was awesome but I feel Lyger carried that match.


so Please for the love of pete, enlighten me as to what is so special about him?

Gedo is a friend of Jushin Lyger and Lyger is the main booker of the Super J-Cup.

To give him credit, he has improved quite a bit since then but everyone still remembers him as 'the crap one in the j-cup'!

I doubt it's just a question of being friendly with Liger or Hayabusa and Delfin probably wouldn't have got such raw deals in 94.
I always thought there must have been a lot of politics involved between the feds in organising a J-Cup, though why WAR would have wasted their pull on Gedo beats me...
To be fair to him, Gedo never was a bad wrestler and had some very good matches that year, it's just that he's so annoying fluking his way past great wrestlers each round. Kinda like a japanese Honky Tonk Man

LOL! That's a good comparison. I hate them both. Altough Honky Tonk Man is a much worse wrestler than Gedo, ofcourse.
