    Puroresu cheers

    Hello,

    Any help would be appreciated. I need any and all Puroresu cheers that anyone can think of so that I can use them this friday at a Harley Race / WLW show. All I have so far are:

    "Gammbare!"
    "Ike!"
    "Shinashite!"
    "Chiri Ni Stere!"

    In particular I need anything that would get a pop out of a japanese person if they heard it (I'm sitting in the middle of 50 japanese businessmen) and preferably nothing that would be offensive to the person I'm cheering for (Takao Omori). Thank you advance for any responses.

    Actually, can anyone explain to me what those expressions mean?
    Translations please?

    Translations

    Gammbare and Ike are both basically the same standard cheers of "Let's Go", etc.

    Shinashite means "kill him"

    Chiri Ni Stere means "throw him in the garbage"

    Thank you for responding, more input would have been nice considering how many members this board has, but C'est La Vie.

    "Gambare" = "hang in there"

    "Ike" = "Go"

    "Shinashite" means "let me/him/her die", but one would easily take it as "let me die". "Korose" might be better if you mean "kill him/her". "Yare" also means "kill him/her" although it could also mean "do it".

    "Chiri Ni Stere" means "throw him in the garbage"
    You probably mean "chiri ni sutero", but I've never heard it during a wrestling match.

    Another popular one is "otose". Literally means "drop it", but it can mean "get(or choke) him/her down" when a wrestler puts the opponent on a choke hold or headlock.
