    Height/Weight Exagerations?

I never really thought about this much before, but it's pretty common knowledge that in America you add 3 inches and 30 pounds to a wrestler when they are introduced. Does something similar go on in Japan?

As far as i know, it can be up to the wrestler, though to Japanese fans it is not as important as it is Stateside. I'm pretty sure that Andre The Giant was always billed as seven four 520 wherever he went so if a wrestler had been hyped outside of Japan they would continue billing him or her at the exaggerrated weight and height.

Where did you get that idea from?

Japanese wrestlers also exagerate weights and heights very often.

Is there a standard for the exaggeration, or is pretty much on an individual basis? Do they just set their own heights/weights?
