Popularity of Puroresu and information on...

Hey Everybody. I was wondering how popular is wrestling right now in Japan? Is it at the same levels as wrestling is in the US right now? Do you think All Japan will have a resugerance and become the top Japanese wrestling promotion?

Was Jumbo Tsurtua good in his day?

Could you tell me if any of the following are good or not?

    Takao Omori and Yoshihiro Takayama
    Tatsumi Fujinami
    Tokoaki Honma
    Yoji Anjoh
    Kodo Fuyuki
    Masahito Kakihara
    Mitsuya Nagai
Koki Kitahara and Arashi (Is that his name or is there more to it than just that?)

    Thanks. I greatly appreciate it.

Ask Hisa for the first. As far as All-Japan, I don't know how they can with the roster and booking they have now.

Was Jumbo Tsurtua good in his day?

    Yes... until 1992.

Could you tell me if any of the following are good or not?

    Takao Omori and Yoshihiro Takayama
-Omori is a great brawler who can rival Kobashi and Akiyama, while Takayama uses the same brawling tactics as Kawada, but they're sloppy.

    Tatsumi Fujinami
-Used to be great, now slower.

    Tokoaki Honma
    -It's Tomoaki. Don't watch garbage.

    Yoji Anjoh
    -See Takayama.

    Kodo Fuyuki
    -UGH!

    Masahito Kakihara
    Mitsuya Nagai
-Have high potential. Kakihara's got a lot of charisma.

Koki Kitahara and Arashi (Is that his name or is there more to it than just that?)
-Koki Kitahara can be as good as Hashimoto when he sets his mind to it.
Arashi means "storm". His real name is Isao Takagi. He, fresh out of the dojo, participated in the '87 Crockett Cup ad Giant Baba's partner. He's fat and quite sloppy.

    Thanks. I greatly appreciate it.
