I would love to, however it is on a Friday night. That would entail taking vacation time the week before the hoilday that celebrates the birth of the SAVIOR. At my office it is a stretch. I would have an easier time trying to convince HHH that he needs to start putting over others to make himself some bigger money.

Highspots is hosting a fan festival on Saturday the 21st at the Ramada Inn at 2275 State road 84 in Ft. Lauderdale at 11 am. Admission is free with a MLW ticket or if you've ordered from them before. Kojima and Funk will be there. You can read about it on the MLW website. I wish they had scheduled all this a week earlier I'd take off and go. They will probably have to replace Kea but it should be a pretty good card nonetheless.

Mike Awesome is taking Kea's spot vs Jerry Lynn. Weird at least a dozen of these guys appeared at least once in ECW with Awesome, Lynn, Corino, Funk, Super Crazy and Sabu holding at least one belt. I can't remember about Simon Diamond though seems him and Swinger held the tag belts at one point.

Neither Simon Diamond nor Johnny Swinget has held any titles in ECW.

I believe this card/event was a big disappointment in that they only drew 400.

Only 400 people?? I don't think Ft. Lauderdale is much a wrestling community. I think every wrestling promotion outside of the WWE should stay in Los Angeles, Philly, New York City, Montreal, Calgary, and a lot of southern states not named Florida.

The Future of Wrestling (FOW) card in Ft. Lauderdale earlier this year that had the 4-way main event between Funk, Rhodes, Abby, and Sullivan drew over 3,500 people. 400 people is a big disappointment for that card, especially with the talent they brought in. They also heavily advertised it, and ran it in a building that could have seated at least 2,000 people. They had to have been hoping for AT LEAST 1,000 people in attendance. Also, in the past Florida was a HUGE territory. Plus, there is some very good independent wrestling in Florida right now. I think part of the problem was they held this card in a month where I believe there was a WWE ppv, raw, and smackdown held in Florida.
