    A little trip to japan

Hi, I'm currently researching what the cost would be for me to travel to Japan for a week of live Puro..most probably Tokyo, but I'd be interested in knowing for elsewhere, how much are tickets for the different types of shows, dollars wise......saying AJPW or an indie? Any information anybody could give me, even including living costs would be greatfully appreciated, to give me a better idea of what i'm getting myself into.

    thanks

Well, as far as the cost of shows go, it really depends on what show, how big it is, what promotion, etc. etc. If you want a halfway decent seat though, you can expect to spend at least 5000 yen (approxx. $43) per show. A ringside seat ould cost you at least twice that. And you're looking at a grand minimum in airfare. I don't know about mayfieldmayhem, but if anyone here knows more about him it could be worth looking into.

If you're going to Tokyo, the cheapest place to stay would be in Yokohama. As soon as you get in, buy the English language newspaper, Kanto Time Out. It'll have listings of the cheapest places to stay in the area, call a few and go to the cheapest one. You'll save hundreds versus geting reservations for a hotel stateside.

As for food, I can't stand the Japanese stuff, but noodles are usually cheap and good. McDonalds is always an option, but Lotteria offers better burgers.

check out mayfieldmayhem.com, he does Japan puro tours, that would be the best way, he also is in with many stars over there so you'd have an inside guy as your guide in a way.
