an STO is sorta like a Rock-Bottom, whereas in RB you kinda lift your opponent a lil bit and slam them down, in STO you trip them down into the slam. AND it's about 10 times more powerful.

STK i don't know what the hell it is.

STO is a judo throw, the only move that bears resemblance to the rock botton(ack!) is the urinage. Its just better....

aww, c'mon man. Uranage is like a freaking suplex where you land on your upper back. It's nothing like the Rockbottom.

Could someone clarify what exactly a urange is? This has confused me for ages, and I've heard everything from Sambo suplex to Rock bottom to 180 rock bottom to a chokeslam variation.

"ura" means "reversed side" or "back". You throw your opponent to the back, not to the front like the rock bottom.

Because the move is easily ten times as cool to watch as the Rock Bottom, IMHO.

Ah, I suppose you could have also interpreted it to mean that the uranage was a predessesor the Rock Bottom, which I suppose is equally true. It's not like he was the first person to ever use a hold that looked anything like that. It would have been nice if Rock could have half ripped off another killer puro hold for his main finisher instead of throwing his elbow pad and running around the ring ala Mr. Wonderful.

Exactly, the Rock is a horrible wrestler (not even a good brawler) and he does injustice to every move he does. His sharpshooter looks like crap, and just about all of his moves look like crap (well, except for his running tornado DDT, he does that quite nicely, even though he never uses it anymore). And instead of underselling moves, he over sells them, looking really stupid.

    STK

The STK was created by Sasaki in an attempt to build some heat for his match with Ogawa at the dome. Sasaki claimed that he had invented a move to "counter" the STO, but the move wasn't a counter at all, it was a slightly different variation of the STO.

What's the STK? Well, imagine the set-up for the STO, there's always one arm across the throat (or at least near it). In the STK, that arm is used to execute a palm strike rather than to force a guy down. And there you have it - The STK. It actually sounds pretty painful.
