    sending tape

hi my name is Rory MacAlister.
i am sending a message to you to get some feedback on what people think is the right thing to do in my situation. I am one of only a few wrestlers to come from Scotland. I have been wrestling in Canada now with my tag team partner Robbie for a few years now. Although we love wrestling here we would love to have a crack at Japan, as anybody who has ever been anybody has showcased their skills in what is regareded as the toughest place to be.
Now don't get me wrong I am not a mark and I'm not sending this message to try to get to Japan. But over here everyone tells you japan is the out of reach dream, but if I had listened to people telling me what is impossible i would never have left Scotland and learned to wrestle in the first place.
what i would like is for people to look at our web sit at sphosting.com/highlanders see us for yourself and tell me what you guys out there think. I did not get into wrestling to do it half assed and one way or another we will wrestle in Japan. We will be sending a tape soon. But i want to see what people think. Is Japan the impossible dream.....I don't think so. Thank you

Well, i'd say mebbe you should ditch the gimmick first, cuz like that just don't look very serious.

And hey, why not head down to the states and check out either Pro-Wrestling Iron or Inoki's L.A. Dojo? They're directly connected to puroresu, and since you guys are experienced professionals already, you'll breeze through them.

If you are indeed good (i'm not doubting anyone's ability here), then they WILL notice you.

I don't know about that... the kilts do provide you with a certain "look" that seperates you from the others. Just kick the crud out of anyone who calls you "The New Headbangers"... please. You just don't make fun of a guy wearing a kilt. Ever.

As for getting to Japan, well just keep working hard for it. Try to get into one of the bigger indies in the States, like ECWA, PWF, Pro-Wrestling Iron, or (dare I say it?) Ring of Honor. With hard work and a little luck, you'll get noticed by the fans. And if the fans notice, then the feds will notice.

I wish you luck in your quest!
