As the topic says, some random theme thoughts ahead of TOTW tomorrow night.
Listening to what I've got of the NJPW "Battle City" album, Heat's theme is a really cool piece of J-Pop
Sadly, Manabu Nakanishi's current theme, "Seize The Tactics" (also available on "Battle City") is bad, as in Very Bad. Probably even worse than "No Problem". I'd love to know which genius at N.J.P. Unit thought it would be a good idea for a theme. I dig the vast majority of their stuff, but I honestly think they dropped the ball again here.
Staying on the subject of "Battle City" (most of which is quite cool by the way), a copy of it is winging it's way to me from Amazon Japan via economy shipping along with the "Grand Sword" album. No way am I getting stung on priority shipping again after what happened last time with the NJPW 30th Anniversary album, ugh. Expect reviews of both when I get them, which should be about three weeks from now.
Speaking of reviews, I'm working on a review of the NJPW 30th Anniversary album (smooth segue there or what?) which I purchased last summer. It will hopefully be done by the weekend and might even have pictures and stuff.
I've got a whole load of puroresu albums here that I could do reviews for, but in the vast majority of cases I only have them as mp3 (I'm working on changing that during the course of the year). Would anyone be interested in this kind of thing? Drop me a line at daplatt@hotmail.com if you are and I'll post a list of the albums that I could review.

Well, I guess you could send them to me and I could burn them to disk and send them to you, but that's nothing you couldn't do on your own, I suppose.
Indeedy. I do have a cd-writer here, but that wasn't quite what I was getting at. I should have explained it a bit better really, so I will attempt to do so here. When I meant wanting to review them on cd, I meant reviewing an original copy of the album so I could comment on the inlay and stuff etc and maybe even include pictures. Make more sense now?
