If not Kazushi Sakuraba, I have to go with Keiji Mutoh also, for a long time i honestly can say I lost alot of interest in pro-wrestling both american and japanese wrestling, especially during the time of the mass exodus from All Japan to Noah which some what left a bad taste in my mouth and I started to get interested in MMA more though I didn't stray far from pro-wrestling, becoming a big fan of Kazushi Sakuraba and his pro-wrestling background is obvious. For a while I just watched a lot of old pro-wrestling matches from AJ, NJ, and UWF/UWF-i/Kingdom. I can say without A doubt after the NJ/AJ cross promotions with all the title unification possibilities it sparked my interest again, and I can give credit to Mutoh for that and i've always been a fan of his since the early 80's when I watched Japanese Pro-Wrestling with my grandpa, he's simply amazing as a worker and very charismatic, bad knees and all.
