Tiger Mask

I know that there have been four Tiger Masks over the last 25 years. Sayama being the first and so on.

My question is was there some sort of passing of the name and gimmeck over the years, or was it just a case of its available so I'm using the name and gimmick?

Has any combination of the four ever tagged together on the same side, under the mas name?

Has there ever been another gimmick that has had more than one person wrestle under the name. atleast in a major promotion, in the US, Japan, or Mexico?

The only passing is from the original (Sayama) to the current one in New Japan. The current Tiger Mask was trained by Sayama before joining Michinoku.

Sayama and the current one tagged against Kanemoto (third) and another one (either Kanamaru or Marufuji subbing for Misawa...I can't remember).

It was Kanemaru. I don't think Marufuji had debuted then.

And I dont think that its the same gimmik but that they were trained by Ultimo and kind of saying they are all his children or other dragons for example

I was jus thinking about something. What would the possablility be of all four Tiger Masks getting in the ring for an eight man tag. Now I no that Sayama doesn't wrestle and is older now. Also that Misawa and Konemoto don't use the gimmeck any more, BUT if they did who would be the perfect apponants and what does anyone think the quality of the match would be.

Well, in their prime, the ideal opponants would be the Dynamite Kid, Toshiaki Kawada, Jyushin Lyger and...umm...how about the Great Sasuke for TM IV? Anyway, it would be a fantastic match.

Sayama has done some wrestling in the past few years and with any luck he's probably like the mexican stars, who can go on performing well into their 50s

On the subject of Tiger Masks facing each other, other the match tomorrow betweem Kanemoto and TM IV, has any of the former TM's faced each other in a single match.
