    Puroresu viewing habits... (Sept.1/03)

I'm just curious what everyone's viewing habits are... I mean, how often do you see new (or new to you) wrestling? Do you see on television, or get it on the internet? Do you buy tapes, how often, how many at a time, and from who?

I buy tapes from tape traders, and I can only afford 2-4 at a time (too many other bills to deal with ). Once I get those paid off, I order new ones... so far I have only about 50 videos (including ECW and FMW commercial tapes). I started buying from RFVideo, but now I'm learning to shop around, getting my last order from JTapes.

I rent video at Japanese grocery stores around NYC. They have the weekly shows of New Japan and NOAH as well as K1 and Pride.

Haven't been able to watch much of indies lately...

    Good question El Pollo.
    Free TV- Lucha Libre only.
Internet- None my computer has Grimlins.
Tapes- Right now I order 3-5 tapes about every 2-3 weeks which is less then half of what I was ordering in 2000. Worst yet most of the tapes I buy are from the 90's especially Joshi. The big loser has been All Japan. They used to be about 40% of my buys but I haven't bought anything new of theirs since the last Wrestle-1 show only mid 90's stuff. Arsion also has lost a lot. In MMA I'm a little better but I've switched from only Pride/UFC shows to smaller promotions like Shooto/HooknShoot.

I try to find downloads. Since theirs no place to rent nor do I own a credit card, or have a job for that matter to buy tapes.

On weekends I watch UWFI on cable, other than that, I do the same thing Hisa does, with the exception that I don't watch K-1 or Pride.

I get tapes from traders as well. I have enough to make trades on a regular basis, but I do buy some as well.

I download most of my matches off Kazaa, but I am looking for more sources.

I get my tapes from Highspots.com, ultimotapes.com or i borrow them from a friend, I forgot where he gets his. I got 4 FMW tapes from Coconuts and F.Y.E, the only thing I don't like, the awful announcers.
