Burning Spirit /Fighting Spirit

What is everyones definition of Burning Spirit and Fighting Spirit ?

Be descriptive as possible as in examples or ideas what it may be history etc..

Both came from Inoki's nick name "moeru toukon".

toukon = fighting spirit
moeru ..... = ..... that burns (or is burning)
