Oddly enough, I always wondered about this myself. I have heard that in Japanese, you pronounce E's as I's and I's as E's. Does that goe for names and does it goes for all words? Because I kinda thought it was pronounced pu-ro-ri-su due to what I heard about it.
No offense, but I always thought it was Americans who mix up E's and I's. As far as I know, in English (UK), French, Spanish, etc., E's are always pronounced as E's, and I's are I's.
Anyway, you pronounce the word as it's spelled:
pu-ro-re-su
Awww man... I'm sorry Hisa. I don't know where I heard that, but I heard that somewhere. I didn't mean to offend you. I admit my ignorance, and I figured that since someone was brave enough to ask a similar question, I would ask my question. I really was not intending to offend you or anyone else.
