Puroresu is a word that encompasses all wrestling in Japan. That being said it more deviations than American wrestling. Personally, I prefer King's Style practiced by Baba's All Japan. It is no longer in practice to my knowledge anywhere. If it is I would like to know.

The question remains what is it about Puro that is more applealing than the offering from other countries? I would have to say workrate and focus on getting the match over rather than yourself.

From what I heard, he was bashing Japan's economy these days (who wouldn't) and giving that as a reason as to why Austin and Goldberg wouldn't go there.

Reality is, though, much like WWE and the rest of North America, Puroresu isn't drawing like it used to, in spite of it having more realistic fighting (even from a worked stage) than the WWE. There, gave my reason.
