this board is supposed to help people who get most of their info from reading internet reports and rarely ever watch what they find most interesting. It's supposed to rely on people in touch with the actual scene who know such stuff like how some sort of move goes. For exampe, if you wanna know what the Emerald Erosion is or similar stuff, post it here.

So, to all you helpful spirits, I would like to know what Keiji Muto's 'Shining Wizard' is.
If you have Smackdown 3 for playstation 2 its called the "flash magic" in edit mode. Its more of a knee to the head but Hisa's description was better than anything I could have come up with
speaking of the emerald frosion, whats the real name for the move? I have heard it called the emerald frosion, emerald frozen, frozen emerald and emerald fusion.............
I have only seen it called the "Emerald Fusion" in WWF video games. They usually change the name of japanese moves eg Tiger Driver 91 is "Dangerous Driver". I usually call it emerald fusion cause any wrestling fans I know offline only know the move from the games :P
On the subject of moves, what are all ya'lls fav moves?
Mine is without a doubt the Vertebreaker. Ouch.
Well, I've seen it several times as Emerald Erosion on websites like 1Wrestling or in magazines.
-------------------
The names of moves are often changed in video games, most of the time into a slightly different, yet still recognizable version.
-------------------
It doesn't help either that many moves are known under different names. For example, the double underhook suplex is also called chickenwing suplex or butterfly suplex.
-------------------
The favourite move question is a good, though complicated one, because you can subdivide into so many. My favourite moves are:
for using (backyard): Figure-Four Leglock
for using (streetfight): Hadakajime
for watching (aerials): Reverse Corkscrew Legdrop
for watching (counters): Handspring Elbow
for watching (impact): Top-Rope Awesome Bomb
I there a book, CD Rom, website or any other place with a list of wrestling moves and there alternte names. I only ask because there are so many moves, holds, submission etc. with alternate names and personalised names it can be confusing at times, Especially when you see two wrestlers using the same moves with different names.
I don't mean silly stuff like the rock bottom/book ends for example but regular moves.
There is a site that has a lot of moves listed, but it has an odd way of listing the moves. For example Kenta Kobashi's Orange Chrush is listed as "powerbomb, suplex." So its a little hard to work with, but it does list the moves.
Kobashi does a suplex where he underhooks the right arm and put his other arm around the opponent's waist and then tosses them back. What's this called?
