By the way can anyone tell me of any good sites where I could by Puroresu tapes or DVDs?
Also how come I can not pick an avatar? I can't unselect the do no use a Avatar option.

since i'm also a newbie, I thought i'd post some questions here:

-is golden boy's delivery any good? and do they accept money orders (money in an envelope sent to their address)?

-and what are some good NOAH shows from 2003 and even 2004?(but mostly 2003 since i can check out the latter on the wrestling channel?

As for doing business with them, I bought from the twice, they sent me a blank tape in my 2nd order, but sent me a good copy once I emailed them.

hey this may sound stupid but does purodvd.com sell only dvds? because in highspots WING and BJPW dvds only sell in VHS

Yeah, PuroDVD only sells on disc. So far I haven't had a bad transfer from him.

As far as help knowing what to buy, keep an eye out on my website (www.wrestlingencyclopedia.com) as I will be reviewing one puroresu PPV every two weeks. So far I have done the two Super J Cups and the All Japan Champion Carnival from 2002, and next week I am reviewing the January, 1996 Tokyo Dome Show. While I don't consider myself an expect in puroresu, I do feel that they can help someone that might not know too much about it.

Oh, you are the guy from wrestlingencyclopedia! man your page really is good. I think I saw the sasuke special for first time in there. But is there any DVD that has some classic feuds or good matches that you know that i can buy?

For recent puroresu, I have heard good things about:

AJPW vs. NJPW New Century Battle In King's Road Commercial Tape
April 14th to June 8th, 2001

For older puroresu, I would recommend the G-1 CLIMAX 1991. You can see a review of it here: http://rollinggermans.8m.com/G%2D1climax1991review.htm. This event is said to have been what took mutoh and chono to the next level.
