    Billy Graham

Did Billy Graham defend his WWWF title against Inoki?
    If so where and when.

Not that I know of. He defended the title against Sakaguchi, though.

Yes I am familiar with Billys matches against Strong Kobayashi, Riki Choshu, & Seiji Sakaguchi from 1977 And his mathes with Great Kusatsu, Mighty Inoue, Rusher Kimura, & Animal Hamaguchi from 1979

I know Billy had 4 matches with Inoki in August and September of 1976. I am trying to see if he indeed had a match with Inoki in 1977/1978 while being WWWF Champ.

He was also in japan in 1974 when he lost the IWE title to Mighty Inou on his birthday. I am sure he had more than just one match in 74 in japan, but it is the only one i could ever find.

Anyone else have any Billy Graham matches from japan from 74?

I believe Graham's only WWF title defense in Japan was against Sakaguchi and Inoki's first WWF title match (at least in Japan) was against Backlund. I guess the non-title matches against Kobayashi and Choshu were to build up to the title match against Sakaguchi.

They do now. Please use "Search" so that you can find out Inoki was officially recognized recognized as a former champ around 2000 or 2001. Although they no longer have the WWFTitleHistory.com site, one of their official books had Inoki on the list.

Besides, this is a thread for Graham's title defenses.

Hisa really likes having an organized forum, so he gets testy when people start threads with topics already discussed or when people change the subject within a thread. But as long as you use the search before you post a new topic and don't change the subject within a thread, Hisa will be your best friend.

So that I dont go off topic, , I went to all my wrestling resource sites and didn't see anything on it. Since it would have been a pretty big deal, I imagine it would be easier to find then this if it had happened.
