Hey, can someone answer me a question? I recently read that gary albright died from a heart attack just when the referee finished the three count. is that true? I think it happened somewhere in 2000.
yes. he died in 2000, on jan 7 to be exact, wrestling lucifer grimm. but i think it was in the middle of the match, not at the end. (although his death obviously ended the match)
Well technically he didn't die until after the match, but he collapsed during it and they immediately ended it. I think he died in route to the hospital or soon after getting there.
Mike DiBiase died during a match...
and last year Moondog spot died of a Heart Attack during a match in Memphis...

During his match with Katsuyori Shibata on 4/14/00, Fukuda was hit by a flying elbow smash. His movement became sluggish, and he eventually collapsed on to the mat in a serious condition. He was rushed to Kessunuma General Hospital, where it was determined that he had internal bleeding of the brain. For days New Japan and it's fans prayed, with many wrestlers, including Shinya Hashimoto, travelling to the hospital to see him. On 4/19/00 at 3:28am, Masakazu Fukuda passed away, the official cause an acute hard membrane lower bloody tumor in his brain. He was 27 years of age, and was planning to announce his engagement in May. On 4/20/00, Hidekazu Tanaka wept as he announced to the fans that Fukuda had passed away, and Yoshie stood in the ring with a picture of him, while Nagata rang the bell ten times in his memory. On 4/21/00, six hundred people attended the funeral of Fukuda, which was funded by New Japan. Fukuda was laid to rest in his New Japan t-shirt, a lasting reminder of his love for wrestling.

I hadn't heard the story about Larry Cameron... can anyone provide details?
I found this at Highspots.com under the listing for the Oro mask:
Oro, which means "gold" in Spanish, made his in-ring debut on November 23, 1990. He teamed with Plata (his brother) and Platino as the trio Los Metálicos. It was soon discovered that Oro had something more than his two partners, though. His highrisk moves off the top rope were revolutionary in the day. He made his Japan debut in 1992. Because his name was so big over there, when he came back to Mexico, he began to team with such stars as Mil Mascaras and Ultimo Dragon. Following a shoulder injury in the ring, he knew his career would never be the same. In one of the most famous stories in wrestling, he told his opponents on October 26, 1993 to drop him on his head, a move that had recently broken the neck of All Japan's Kenta Kobashi. One of his opponents, Kahoz, gave Oro a clothline, spinning Oro around, landing him on his head. He was pronounced dead on the spot.
I had also heard about the luchador Pentagon being dead for 3 minutes in a ring during a match.
I had also heard about one of the Fantastics (who was a trained paramedic, I think) saving the life of someone in the ring during a match. If anyone knows the stories, please enlighten me.
