    The Shiranui

I've been trying to follow Naomichi Marufuji, and he sounds like an entertaining wrestler to see. Hopefully I'll get a tape of one of his matches. Anyway, I know his finisher is the Shiranui... But what is it? Could someone provide a description? Thanks.

    I'll try.

He grabs his opponent like he is going for an Acid Drop and then runs up the turnbuckles, flips back and falls down onto his opponent. Like an inverted Diamond Dust in a way.

As far as getting a tape goes, personally I didn't think his Super J Cup 2004 matches were "great," but they were definitely solid, especially the main event. Since he has three matches, I'd still suggest it if seeing him was your main goal.

Thanks for the advice, kwilson83. I must admit that I haven't followed puroresu for a long time, only really getting somewhat into shallow water with the standard Misawa/Kobashi/Kawada in their prime stuff. I remember when NOAH first started, but after awhile, my interests turned to other things. Now that things in my life are slowing down a little, I'm back to the Puro, looking at where old favorites are now (yay Kobashi!) and learning about talents I hadn't heard of before (Marufuji, Kanemaru, etc.).

Anyway, I'll definitely look into getting some Super J Cup 2004 tapes. The old hands on here seem to agree that it's at least worth watching.
