    Romaji in names

Can someone explain to me why certain wrestlers such as TAKA Michinoku (I believe) and Magnum TOYKO have romaji in their names instead of all kanji? Is this for added emphasis or to indicate a nickname perhaps?

Because capital letters are way cooler than kanji.

I think it has something to do with proper names or something like that. A similar example: Masahiro Chono's full name is always written in kanji, but Masa Saito's name was always "Masa" spelled out in hiragana with Saito in kanji. Same goes for Hiro Saito, as both Masa and Hiro were short for their full first name. Kinda like Andy/Andrew, Rob/Robert, etc. Hisa's gotta have a better explanation , as I'm just a lowly fourth-gen Japanese guy.

It may just be that names like "CIMA" or "KENTA" look cool, Western and exotic. I dunno.
