Who do you think is the best gaijin in puroresu right now?
Personally, I think it's Josh Barnett. He's well-established as NJ's foreign star and his solid UFC background makes for some good matches. I predict that if he keeps it up, his stock will rise even higher.

I think AmDragon is the most important gaijin right now, he has great potential...
I have lot all my respect for my namesake...there I would like to be known as WilliamsFan from now on...I feel disgraced with the name of Edge on me...
Good point Luds, but I still don't really consider him a gaijin despite the fact he's from Hawaii...

Kea/Mossman is at least part-Haole, so he would qualify for the list. I think I saw him at a strip club in Honolulu around the same time he was out with an injury in 2000. Funny, he wasn't that big either, at least as big as I thought he would be.

American Dragon. He's got great international crossover appeal and the skills to take him wherever he wants to go as long as wretsling trends keep focused on technicl wrestling and we dont head back into a garbage era or something.

HAHAHAHAHA i cant believe you said Haole.
I also picked him because yes he is from Hawaii and I like him as a wrestler so even more points for me picking him.
Well, I coulda used Hakujin, but since he's from the rock, I'd figure I'd use his his hometown slang. Actually, come to think of it, I shoulda just used hapa.
Here's a little bit of Taiyo Kea trivia: he went to the same high school(Kaimuki High School) as Hawaiian Music Awards Entertainer of the year and ukelele player Jake Shimabukuro, who is also pretty well known in Japan. I believe the former Maunakea Mossman(well, not really since he probably only changed it for wrestling) graduated a year before the guy some people call the Eddie Van Halen of the ukelele.
Ok i know this is off the subject but i think alot of people in hawaii think that Jake Shimabukuro is overrated i mean yes he does have skills on a ukelele but I just think how funny it was that he almost got mobbed at a high school just because he played his ukelele for barely half an hour. LOL
kurama_tengu how do you know so much about this i mean you must of have lived here or currently live here to know all that. Im Amazed
Nah, I'm one of those Yonsei Nihonjin that appreciates Hawaii. My sis lives there, but my knowledge of that tidbit of info came from the net. I was reading the liner notes from Jake's last album and thought Kaimuki HS sounded familiar. Well, it was because I just saw it on some internet article about Mossman/Kea. I wonder if those two were cool with each other in HS? If it gets really bad in Japan, Kea can have Jake second him in a match for the TC and use his ukelele to clobber whoever is the champ a la Honkytonk and Jarrett. Man, I hope it never gets that bad.
Off-topic, I like Jake's stuff, cuz it's relaxing, although I prefer my Cantopop and J-pop. I get the impression that most of the younger crowd either prefers the mainstream American pop/rock stuff or Jawaiian-style.
Oh yeah, I hope Kea continues to do well in Japan, cuz I'd hate to see what Vince would do with him. Probably call him Ricky Steamboat Jr. or even better, Prince Iaukea(since he's related) and then have the other one come in and feud over the name hoping to relive the Nature Boy vs. Nature Boy or the Midnight Express vs. Midnight Express feuds. Oh, I can only hope that the Japanese fans don't embrace the WWE during this tour, otherwise we'll soon be seeing them scream "boring" after 3 minutes of a Triple Crown match.
