Man, that sounded like a fun show. Ricky Fuji, Oya, Onryu, Mr. Gannosuke, The Winger, TAKA, Tanaka, Kanemura, Hido, Kuroda, Hidaka, Sandman... Guys I loved to watch for years in FMW, ECW, and the Indies. Especially Tanaka, Kanemura, Gannosuke, Hido. Tanaka vs. Kanemura, it never seems to end does it? I think they'll still be wrestling each other twenty years from now, broken and scarred, limbing and burned, but still working as hard as they do, harder than most, to give the people a good show. I've got nothing but respect and admiration for both of them.
Sabu and Hayabusa worked well in the match but Shinzaki was incredibly lazy and Van *** seemed stoned out of his mind. That said, it was a decent match, perhaps Sabu's best, though his three-way dance between Funk and Douglas might have been better, as could his deathmatches with The Sandman and Terry Funk.
I bite my thumb at these shows, at that Lita Sumie Sakai and anyone else responsible for advertising it and promoting it. Her lies had me floating to nirvana before her fradualent ways were exposed, ripping out my pure and innocent heart. She doesn't even have the decency to give an apology she doesn't mean for her delibrate deception.
